Are you one of those people who wants EXACTLY what you want, and nothing else will do?

We love doing custom work.
The least expensive custom work is specially-shaped bar-end weights (starting at $180 depending on design and materials), since we know how to do it, and the design time is much lower. The one-off machining still hurts, though.
We specialize in functional and utilitarian items, but will work with you on issues of appearance.
In-house expertise:
- Computer-aided design
- Design, fabrication and outsource of machined parts
- Design and fabrication of things made of bent and welded tubes and flanges (like carrying racks and crash guards)
- Outsource of polishing and coating
- Design, outsource and assembly of custom electrical circuits, circuit boards
Basically, we can design, fabricate, or general contract almost any project for motorcycles or accessories.
Projects will be considered, priced and handled on a case-by-case basis.
Due to the design time and machine setup time being charged to just one unit sold, you should expect to pay a lot for custom items.
Custom work intellectual property policy:
We reserve the right to offer products which are identical to, or closely resemble custom designs we have done.
If we do, the original client will be identified on the website and in the product literature, as the originator of the concept, unless the client requests anonymity.
We will not patent a client's design, and will take no legal action against a client who elects to produce the design they commissioned, for sale.
Disclaimer on custom work:
Of course, !!!MANIC Salamander will do its best to produce reliable, safe, impeccably constructed custom products. However, the specifications of the design are those of the client, and we cannot offer any certification that the custom designs we arrive at together will be safe under all possible conditions of use. Custom products are experimental, and necessarily less well thought-out and tested than a normal product. The client assumes full and exclusive responsibility for any consequences arising from the use of a custom product. Client holds harmless !!!MANIC Salamander for any injury to person, property, livelihood, or physical/emotional health that may occur as a result of the failure, use, or malfunction of a custom product.
The custom work warranty applies exclusively to the functions specified in writing, under the use conditions specified in writing, at the time the custom work contract is made out. Obligations under warranty will be limited to restoration/ achievement of the specified functionality, or refund of the purchase price, at our option. If the client wishes to change the specifications during or after the job, !!!MANIC Salamander may elect to accept the change free, or for an additional charge, but is under no obligation to do so.
